CDQ Data Quality as Service

An additional feature to improve the matching quality would be, to add "Tradestyle Names" and former Names, so that the matching algorithm can deal with it and replies the correct matching candidate.

As an Example could be named:

Input Criteria:

Name: BMW AG

Address: Petuelring 130

Post Code: 80788
City: Munich

In the example above, the Name of the company is a "Tradestyle" Name, because BMW AG is not the legal name of this company.

The legal name would be: Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft

As an response, it would be an improvement, that the matching algorithm can deal with that type of input and delivers the correct legal Name:

Bayerische Motorenwerke Aktiengesellschaft

and as a 2nd "Tradestyle Name Level": BMW AG

A second example would be the search for the company: Playmobil in DE.

Playmobil as a legal name is not registered. So it will be hard to deal for the matching algorithm, to identify the correct legal company named:

geobra Brandstätter Stiftung & Co. KG

In this example, the tradestyle name functionality would bring a high improvement to widen the scope and to bring matching at CDQ to a higher level by delivering more results with higher confidence.
