CDQ Data Quality as Service

Hi,

CDQ currently does not provide a Data Quality (DQ) rule for validating the Importer Exporter Code (IEC) format in India.

To address this, we recommend using the following regular expression (REGEX) for format validation:

^\d{10}$

The IEC is a 10-digit unique identification number issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

You can verify this format on the official DGFT website:

Please note that the IEC is unique to each legal entity and is linked to the entity’s Permanent Account Number (PAN).
