Problem:
App users can't measure the data quality after I have accepted the suggestions in the Data Clinic without API.
I understand that...
I understand that the Data Quality Dashboard reflects ONLY what is in our Data Mirror and not in our Decision Log;
I also understand that it might not have sense to show the data quality of a set of data that is not in the client's systems;
But yet, why do I believe this is relevant?
Because the user can perceive the value CDQ offers reflected in the quality KPIs instantanously after accepting the suggestions in the Data Clinic;
Because Data Clinic can be more than just a tool for choosing the best suggestions, it can also show the potential of the quality the data can achieve;
Because we can integrate 2 great tools we have: Data Quality Dashboard and Data Clinic, making the apps more relevant for the users;
Therefore, one of my suggestions would be...
Create a filter in the Data Quality Dashboard for the DECISION LOG data quality;
Dear Izabela,
thank you for the idea.
I amafraid this is going against the architecture design. We dont put any assumption on decission log in terms of integration, revalidation and meassuring. It's decission space of the customer and just the customer can establish a process for taking decission what to accept and what not. From the same reasons, the decission log has to be somehow integrated to master data or any other type of system for final data rest and then re-produce back to data mirror, if the continouse measurement should take place.
For all these reasons, I dont see now space for start working on the idea.
